About Sophie Williams

Sophie is a Pennsylvania based artist, specializing in watercolors and gouache. She primarily paints plein air, painting outdoors from life, and fantasy illustrations of magical creatures. 

She grew up in fields and woods of New England going on long hikes and reading old fairy tales and myths.

As an adult living in Lancaster she uses art to reconnect with the whimsy of growing up in the country.
